One platform, tuned to any need

Out of the box, Eagle 3D Streaming is set up as an all-rounder: good picture, quick start and sensible cost for almost any application and any viewer. But the same platform can be turned two ways from there — up, for the best performance your application can get when cost is not the question, or down, to almost nothing when cost is all that matters. You choose, per application and even per link.

One platform, three ways to run it

The default sits in the middle
Lowest costAll-rounder (default)Highest performance
Where it runs Your own machine with E3DS Stream Host, free for non-commercial use Our servers: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 5070 Our servers, or cloud GPUs in the region closest to your viewers (Enterprise)
Picture Lower resolution and quality Adapts to each viewer's connection Fixed high resolution and quality (Quality)
Start time The app starts when someone opens the link The app starts when someone opens the link Kept running so viewers connect in seconds (preallocated apps)
Sharing Many viewers watch one session (shared): one machine for everyone Each viewer gets their own session Each viewer gets their own session, on its own machine
Time limits Short session limits and idle logout (per link) Your choice per link As long as the viewer needs

Turning it up: performance first

When the experience matters more than the bill
  • Keep the application running with preallocated apps, so nobody waits for a cold start.
  • Stream from close to your viewers. On Enterprise, cloud GPUs can run in the region your audience is in, which shortens the delay between a click and the picture reacting (capacity and regions).
  • Fix the picture high: a set resolution and quality instead of adapting down on a weaker connection.
  • Give each viewer their own machine (dedicated sessions, the default).

Turning it down: cost first

Down to almost nothing
  • Use your own hardware with E3DS Stream Host: free for non-commercial use.
  • Let a group watch one session with a meeting link: one machine and one concurrent user, however many people watch.
  • Limit sessions: a maximum session length and an idle logout on each link, so nothing runs when nobody is using it (configuration).
  • Ask for less picture: a lower resolution uses less of the machine and less bandwidth.

Not sure which way to turn? Start with the default. It is built to be right for most applications, and every setting above can be changed later, per link, without uploading again. For an exact price on a performance setup, see plans and billing or book a call.
