Version 1.0.8 of the Eagle 3D Streaming Control Panel, released in March 2024: a redesign of the
whole Control Panel, with plans bought and managed from inside it. What it
changed, and where each part is today.
What the release was for
1.0.8 rebuilt the Control Panel around three jobs: managing your streaming
applications, managing your subscription, and setting how each stream
behaves. It was aimed at everyone who streams Unreal applications, from game
developers to architects, engineers, and teams in AEC, real estate and the
metaverse.
Finding your way
A simpler layout. Applications, subscriptions and
settings became easier to reach.
A reorganised home page, with icons and labels on each
section.
The home page today.
Your plan and your bill
1.0.8 moved subscriptions into the Control Panel, paid through an automated
payment system — the move
to Stripe. From then on you could:
add, change, cancel or upgrade a plan in a few clicks
see your subscription status as it changes
get renewal reminders, so a renewal is not missed
follow your usage: storage used and streaming minutes
upgrade your plan or your storage as your needs change
In March 2024 that usage view was under My Account ›
Subscriptions: the plan, the storage used against the allowance, the
minutes streamed, and the next bill broken down by charge.
The Plans page today.
Your apps and their links
Streaming links and meeting links, each with its own
configuration. Meeting links were experimental in March 2024; today they
have their own Meeting Link tab — see
meeting links.
A tab for the essential streaming settings, then called
Streaming UI and today called UI —
see the streaming interface.
Customization and Developer tabs for
the more advanced options — see
