The E3DS Automation Tools plugin packages, bundles and uploads your app to Eagle 3D Streaming in one click, from inside the Unreal Editor, instead of three manual steps and a browser upload.
The manual route is: package the project, zip the build, open the Control Panel, upload the zip. The Automation Tools plugin does all three from the Unreal toolbar. It bundles the build into a single 7-Zip archive in store mode, without compressing it: packaging takes no extra time, and the file is about the size of the build itself.
Once is easy either way. It earns its place when you upload daily — every iteration is one click instead of a sequence with four places to forget a step.
Unreal Engine 5.2 to 5.6, plus two programs on the same computer:
C:/Program Files/7-Zip/7z.exe; if yours is elsewhere, set
Path to 7zip Executable in the plugin's settings.
Download from
Fab
or GitHub, then
install it the same way as any project plugin — the folder goes in your
project's Plugins folder and you enable it under
Edit → Plugins.
The plugin uploads on your behalf, so it needs a credential for your account: the E3DS Api Key setting. Uploading from Unreal covers the settings and the upload itself.
Configuring the plugin and sending a build.
